I am a mother, wife, friend, writer, artist, musician and avid gardener. I grew up in England but lived in America for many years. I dreamed of returning to England after my daughter left home, but in 1990 I met and fell in love with the photographer, Joel Meyerowitz, and so I stayed for another 20 years. Finally, the opportunity to live in Tuscany, where we had taught our workshop and also married, arose, and in 2014 we moved here full time. We have collaborated on several projects together, but on this site you will find the creative work that is mine and mine alone. If you would like to get to know me better, I would invite you to read some of the essays on my blog. In 2018 we were able to get a little pied a terre in London and began dividing our time between London and Tuscany. In 2022 after a serious injury we made the decision to relocate permanently to London.
